2015 Lincoln Navigator breaks cover

Lincoln has launched the facelifted Navigator which has been confirmed to make its public debut next month at the 2014 Chicago Auto Show. The refreshed Navigator features a split-wing front grille and a bulging hood, together with LED-infused HID headlights, updated taillights, a chrome trim and 20-inch alloys. Inside it gets a wood & leather steering wheel, the MyLincoln Touch infotainment system and push-button ignition. There are also PowerFold third-row seats, updated switchgear and more premium materials. Opt for the Reverse Package and you also get “ultra-luxurious seats”, 22-inch polished alloys, Ziricote wood trim and leather-covered dashboard.

Motivation is provided by a V6 EcoBoost 3.5-liter twin-turbo engine which has replaced the V8 5.4-liter. Output of the new mill is rated at 370 bhp and 430 lb-ft which can be sent to an optional Control Trac Four-Wheel-Drive system through a 6-speed automatic gearbox. Lincoln mentions the 2015 Navigator can be configured with Lincoln Drive Control with Continuously Controlled Damping.


Scheduled to go on sale this fall, pricing of the facelifted Navigator will be announced closer to its market release.
