The Ford Mustang has reached its 50th anniversary so the Blue Oval company decided the best way to celebrate this event is to send a Revell Mustang model car into space.
They did this by using a high-altitude weather balloon that allowed the model car reach an altitude of almost 33,528 meters (110,000 feet).
74 minutes later after take-off, the model car returned on earth and landed on a field from where it was retrieved after using a GPS location transmitter to find out the exact position of the Mustang.
