Peugeot 508 facelift officially revealed

French automaker Peugeot has unveiled this week the facelifted 508 range which adopts a significantly more premium exterior appearance. It draws some if styling cues from the smaller 108 and 308 models, such as the smaller front grille which is being flanked by updated LED headlights. There’s also a flatter hood and several revisions to the taillights and rear bumper. Materials of higher quality were used on the inside and there’s also a new center-console storage box. Peugeot is also introducing a seven-inch touchscreen display, a 4-zone climate control system, head-up display and a JBL sound system.

2015 Peugeot 508-1

Customers will have the possibility of configuring their 2015 Peugeot 508 facelift with a blind spot monitoring system and a rear view camera, while under the hood there are two new engines to choose from. The first one is a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter THP 165 equipped with start/stop technology along with a more economical 2.0-liter BlueHDi 180.


Sales of the model will kick off in Europe on September 10 while in China it will be available in January next year.
