Zagato unveils Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake

The Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake has been revealed by Zagato Atelier and it is their second one-off project in 2014 after the Lamborghini 5-95 Zagato. The car’s world premiere will happen at the Chantilly Arts & Elegance 2014 event where the firm is going to celebrate its 95th anniversary. The car seen in these official images was commissioned by a wealthy European customer who asked Zagato to develop “an atelier-level, collectible modern car”. Specifications of the one-off shooting brake haven’t been released but Zagato says the new shape “creates surprise and fascination.”

The Aston Martin Virage Shooting Brake is the third and final Zagato concept celebrating Aston Martin’s centenary after the DBS Coupe Zagato Centennial and the DB9 Spider Zagato Centennial. According to Zagato, their latest project “is a modern interpretation with design cues of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage and Volante of the mid-80s.”
