DC Avanti Special Edition brings more power and other upgrades

The DC Avanti has received a special edition that comes with a significant power boost. It has the same 2.0-liter turbocharged gasoline engine sourced from Renault, but its output has increased from the stock 250 hp to 310 hp. Just like the regular model, the motor works with a six-speed manual gearbox, but now DC Design is offering the model with an optional six-speed automated manual transmission that they say was created in-house. To go along with the added muscle, the sportscar developed in India has a slightly more aggressive body featuring carbon fiber sill extensions, front splitter and rear diffuser. You will also notice the carbon rear wing and the car also sits lower than before.

DC Design will only make 31 units of the DC Avanti Special Edition and the model is slated to enter production phase in April next year. All the cars will be offered with a selection of three color combos: white & blue, grey & orange and grey & green. In addition, it features stiffer anti-roll bars and some tweaks inside the cabin such as updated TFT sporty dials, leather-wrapped steering wheel and Alcantara-covered sport seats.
