Audi reveals TT ultra quattro concept at 2013 Worthersee
Audi has launched this week at the Worthersee show the TT ultra quattro concept which is based on the TT S quattro but has radical changes.
For instance, the concept tips the scales at 2,449 lbs (1,111 kg) which makes it 661 lbs (300 kg) lighter than the stock model.
Its heart and soul is a 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder TFSI engine pumping out 310 HP (228 kW) and 400 Nm (295 lb-ft) of torque, providing the vehicle with an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 3.6 kg/hp.
It will complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in only 4.2 seconds, thus being a full 1.3 seconds faster than the standard TT S quattro variant. It will reach a top speed of 280 km/h (173.98 mph). Changes compared to the model it is based on include a carbon functional wing, bucket seats from the R8 GT, and carbon fiber reinforced plastic roof, rear-end, B-pillars and center tunnel.
