Next-gen MINI teased in official spy pic

MINI has started teasing the next generation of the Cooper which they say will be unveiled shortly. This official spy photo comes as a response after several media outlets posted fully revealing photos of the new model so MINI is doing a bit of damage control. Although the design of the car is mostly hidden under the cover, we already know the styling will be evolutionary in comparison to the outgoing model and will use some of the design ideas seen on the Rocketman concept. The exterior design won’t go through many significant changes, but the interior is set to receive a major overhaul, including a traditional instrument cluster replacing the centrally-mounted speedometer.
