The 2014 Audi R8 V10 has been upgraded by the engineers at ABT who concentrated their work on the 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine. In its standard configuration, the ten-cylinder mill is capable of outputting 525 HP (386 kW) and a maximum torque of 398 lb-ft (540 Nm).
After ABT worked its magic, the engine can unleash an impressive 600 HP (441 kW) and 405 lb-ft (550 Nm). The car now needs just 3.5 seconds until it hits 62 mph (100 km/h), en route to a maximum speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
There are other goodies to talk about as this tuned R8 V10 has also gained new coilovers and suspension springs, while on the outside it wears a few carbon fiber-made aerodynamic parts such as side skirts, front skirt and grille, rear skirt and rear wing. There’s also a stainless steel exhaust system and new 19-inch alloy wheels shod in 235/35/19 front and 305/30/19 rear rubbers.
