Audi has launched the A3/S3 Sedan scheduled to go on sale this spring. The sedan is 175.5 inches long, 70 inches and 55.7 inches tall, while the wheelbase measures 103.4 inches. The S3 can be distinguished thanks to its updated side skirts, bumpers, along with the spoiler mounted on the trunk. The sport-tuned suspension brings the car closer to the ground by 25mm and we also notice faux aluminum mirror casings. For the U.S. market, the A3 Sedan features Bluetooth, leather upholstery, MMI infotainment system with 7-inch display, panoramic sunroof, along with optional goodies like 4G/LTE, Bang & Olufsen sound system and LED ambient lightning.
In terms of engines, the Audi A3 Sedan can be fitted with a 1.4-liter TFSI producing 140 HP (103 kW), a 1.8-liter TFSI with 170 HP (132 kW), a 2.0-liter TFSI and a 2.0-liter TDI generating 150 HP (110 kW). The S3 is powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI rated at 300 HP (221 kW) and 280 lb-ft (380 Nm) of torque which is enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) time of 4.9s when equipped with the S tronic gearbox while with the 6-speed manual it needs 5.3s. Both are limited to a top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
