Audi R8 V10 Plus tested at Nürburgring
A 2013 Audi R8 V10 Plus was driven by Horst von Saurma on the Nürburgring Nordschleife for a Sport Auto test. It was capable of performing the lap in 7 minutes and 45 seconds, thus making it quicker than cars such as the Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano, but still slower than the Chevrolet Camaro ZL1.
At its heart is a V10 5.2-liter FSI engine rated at 550 HP (404 kW) and 398 lb-ft (540 Nm) of torque, enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.5 seconds, before hitting a maximum speed of 197 mph (317 km/h).
