Austin Healy crashes in New Zealand hill climb race

It’s always sad to see a classic car such as the Austin Healy crash but at least the driver in this video managed to get out of the vehicle without any injuries. The accident occurred in New Zealand at a hill climb race near Wellington where a 1962 Austin Healy 3000 powered by a straight-six 3.0-liter engine crashed. Behind the wheel was 61-year old Bernie Huynen who purchased the vehicle six month before. He is known to have more than 40 years of racing experience with various Austin models. The Healy seen in this clip almost rolled over but luckily in the end it just winded up on the other side of the road.
