BMW Japan announces 3-Series Touring Style Edge

BMW’s Japan division has taken the wraps off the limited edition 3-Series Touring Style Edge. It’s programmed to go on sale in November and it is based on the latest 320i Touring version equipped with the xDrive all-wheel drive arrangement for superior traction regardless of road conditions. The car comes as standard with a Black Sapphire metallic exterior paint scheme and has received the BMW M Performance black kidney grille which on the regular model is an optional feature but on this special edition it comes as standard. It’s the same story with the 18-inch M light-alloy wheels that are also part of the standard package.

Stepping inside the cabin, the BMW 3-Series Touring Style Edge in JDM specification has been pampered with heated front seats, ash grain wood trim, black synthetic leather upholstery, storage package and the BMW M Performance stainless steel pedal kit.
Power comes exclusively from a four-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbodiesel engine producing 184 PS (135 kW) and a maximum torque of 270 Nm (199 lb-ft) sent to both axles with help from an 8-speed automatic gearbox.

BMW Japan says they plan on making just 200 units at a starting price of ¥6,110,000, with deliveries to begin either by the end of the year or early 2016.
