BMW launches 2-Series Active Tourer M Sport
BMW is trying to infuse a sportier look in the 2-Series Active Tourer by introducing an M Sport variant. The vehicle features a more aggressive appearance with an aerodynamic body kit, a sport-tuned suspension with a 10mm lowered height, a glossy black front grille, along with a couple of 17- and 18-inch alloy wheel designs. For the interior BMW has prepared M-branded door sill plates, an anthracite roof liner, a leather-covered steering wheel and bespoke upholstered sport seats.
Engine options carry over from the regular model so customers can opt for a 3-cylinder, 1.5-liter gasoline turbocharged motor with 136 HP and 220 Nm along with a larger 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo engine outputting 231 HP and 350 Nm. On the diesel side, there’s a 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter unit which is good for 150 HP and 330 Nm.
