The BMW M5 and M6 are now available with additional accessories part of the M Performance array. Let’s start with the interior cabin which now is available with stainless steel pedals, a carbon fiber trim and special BMW M Performance-branded floor mats. Another important goodie would have to be the steering wheel wrapped around in Alcantara and leather which boasts a race display that according to the Bavarian marque will show not only gear shift info, but longitudinal and lateral acceleration values as well.
For the exterior, BMW M5 and M6 owners can equip their car with a glossy black grille, body stripes and a titanium exhaust system made by Akrapovic which is 22 lbs (10 kg) lighter than the standard exhaust. BMW is also offering a wide variety of carbon fiber bits and pieces, including the rear diffuser, rear spoiler and mirror caps. Rounding off the list of changes would have to be the 20-inch M lightweight alloy wheels and the carbon ceramic brake discs.
