BMW X6 M Design Edition breaks cover
German automaker BMW has officially revealed the X6 M Design Edition which will be available only in 100 units at a yet undisclosed price tag. Market release is not known at this moment but we can tell you the high-performance SAV has gained a redesigned rear diffuser and a carbon fiber rear spoiler, while the M Performance strips are optional. The interior cabin benefits from a black & Mugello red leather-covered dashboard, an elegant piano black trim and two-tone Merino leather seats. We should also mention the individually-numbered plaque and Mugello Red contrast stitching.
BMW didn’t provide any technical details but we assume hiding under the hood is a V8 4.4-liter twin-turbo engine capable of providing 555 HP and a maximum torque of 680 Nm. It should be enough to grant the car with a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 4.7 seconds en route to an electronically-capped top speed of 155 mph (250 km/h).
