You are looking at the Terrafugia Transition which is being described by its creator as the very first “roadable aircraft”. While some of you may characterize it as a flying car, the Transition is a street-legal vehicle with airborne capabilities. On public roads it can reach a top speed of 65 mph and you can use it as an airplane as well if you encounter a massive traffic jam.
Production of this peculiar vehicle will commence in 2015 and already more than 100 people have put down a deposit for the Transition which costs $279,000.
