Chevrolet has taken the wraps off the Silverado Texas Edition which comes with a locking rear differential, body color trim, 20-inch polished alloys and a trailering package. Those who are willing to spend more for the range-topping Texas Edition LTZ will also benefit from a Bose sound system as well as chrome accents. It is important to mention that this special edition of the 2014 Silverado will be sold only in Texas, while other states will be offered with an optional Custom Sport package bringing just about the same goodies.
Depending on the chosen variant, the Chevrolet Silverado Texas Edition can be powered by either a 4.3-liter V6 with 285 bhp (212 kW) or a 5.3-liter V8 unleashing 355 bhp (250 kW).
No word right now about the price of the vehicle but as you would imagine is going to be more expensive than the standard model.
