The 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition has made its online debut and it’s programmed to hit dealerships in the following months. Only 500 units will ever be made and all of them are derived from the track-only C7.R and will be available both as a coupe and convertible based on the 3LZ trim. The vehicles are getting numerous standard goodies including the Performance Package which among others has Brembo carbon ceramic brakes and Michelin PS Cup 2 tires. The body can wear a black or a new Corvette Racing Yellow Tintcoat exterior paint scheme with C7.R Edition graphics package.
It also benefits from the carbon fiber ground effects package, yellow brake calipers, black wheels with yellow accent strip and Corvette Racing logo center caps, as well as a visible carbon fiber hood section while the vents and grilles have a Spectra Gray Metallic finish.
As far as the interior cabin is concerned, the 2016 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 C7.R Edition gets a carbon fiber high gloss trim package, Jet Black leather upholstery, sueded microfiber accents on the instrument panel and doors, along with yellow contrast stitching, Corvette Racing sill plates and a Competition Sport Seat.
