Italian-based automaker DR Motors has launched recently the 2014 CityCross which was created mostly for urban areas. It was designed as a crossover since it comes with body cladding, 15- or 16-inch rims and with roof rails. The vehicle is 3860mm long, 1620mm wide and 1580mm tail, while on the inside it has power windows, air conditioning system and an audio system with support for USB, MP3 and CD.
The cargo capacity stands at 370 liters and can be enlarged to 1,200 liters once you fold down the rear seats.
Under the hood of the 2014 CityCross is a 1.3-liter bi-fuel offered as gasoline/LPG or gasoline/methane which churns 83 HP (63 kW) and 84 lb-ft (114 Nm) of torque. The car needs 12.5 seconds from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) and it can reach a rather modest top speed of 97 mph (156 km/h).
DR Motors mentions the car will go on sale in a short while, with pricing kicking off in home market Italy from 9,980 EUR which is quite reasonable taking into account what you get in return for your investment.
