Facelifted Dodge Challenger goes official
Dodge is proud to introduce the facelifted Challenger which has received a more menacing hood bulge, a split front grille and projector fog lights. It also can be distinguished by its split LED taillights, a different rear valence panel, along with new alloy wheel and exterior paint choices. Inside the cabin there’s an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and a 7-inch customizable screen sitting between the speedometer and tachometer. Dodge is now offering an eight-speed TorqueFlite automatic transmission as well as safety systems like rear cross path detection, adaptive cruise control, blind-spot monitoring and forward collision warning.
The 2015 Challenger can also be configured with a 6.4-liter Scat Pack that has a 6.4-liter V8 engine generating 485 bhp and a maximum torque of 475 lb-ft. It works with either a 6-speed manual or the aforementioned 8-speed ‘box. This package also encompasses HID headlights, a glossy black grille surround, Brembo brakes and different 20-inch rims.
Dodge has also created a Scat Pack Shaker which is compatible with either the 5.7 V8 or the 6.4 V8 engine and comes along with a Super Track Pack suspension kit, sport seats, Goodyear Eagle F1 tires and a black graphics package, as well as a cold-air intake and a functional hood scoop.
