Facelifted Toyota Yaris unveiled in U.S. guise

Japanese marque Toyota has unveiled this week the facelifted 2015MY Yaris in U.S. specification which is slated to go on sale later this month at a starting price of $14,845. It looks just about the same as the European variant so it packs an updated front fascia with massive air intakes and a slender grille. The headlights have also gone through a significant revision while the suspension has been retuned and the interior cabin received more sound deadening material and a different dashboard. The 2015MY Toyota Yaris will be sold with a choice of three trim levels: L, LE and SE.
The base L comes with power windows & locks, air conditioning as well as an Entune infotainment system packing a 6.1-inch touchscreen display. Move up to the LE variant and you also get keyless entry, cruise control, 15-inch alloys and a silver & metallic interior trim. The range-topping SE comes with LED daytime running lights, projector beam headlights, bigger brakes, sport-tuned suspension along with 16-inch wheels, bespoke cloth upholstery, glossy black trim, rear spoiler and a leather-covered steering wheel.
Motivation is provided by a 4-cylinder 1.5-liter gasoline engine rated at 106 bhp (79 kW) and 139 Nm (103 lb-ft) sent to the front wheels through a standard 5-speed manual or an optional 4-speed automatic gearbox.
