Ferrari will be building a theme park near Barcelona in Spain at the PortAventura resort, after the year 2010 when they inaugurated the Ferrari World Theme park in United Arab Emirates.
The new one is programmed to being its activity in 2016 and will include a five-star Ferrari-themed hotel that will have no less than 250 rooms, as well as a driving simulator and a bunch of restaurants.
Ferrari went for this location because each year around four million people visit the PortAventura resort and half of them come from outside Spain. The Ferrari Land theme park will cover a surface of 75,000 square meters and will also contain what will be the highest vertical and fastest accelerating rollercoaster in Europe.
