Fiat Freemont Cross heading to Geneva Motor Show

Fiat has announced the Freemont Cross that will be seen in public for the first time at the 84th Geneva Motor Show programmed for next month. The vehicle will come with a more rugged exterior appearance featuring enlarged wheel arches, black frames for the headlights and taillights, along with platinum chrome inserts for the bumpers as well as bespoke Hyper black 19-inch five-spoke alloy wheels. The cabin will be fitted with black leather upholstery complemented by grey stitching along with liquid graphite accents on the door panels, steering wheel, dashboard, instruments and center console.

Under the hood it can be equipped with a 2.0-liter MultiJet II turbodiesel engine rated at 143 HP sent to the front axle with help from a 6-speed manual gearbox. Customers can also opt for a 170 HP variant of the same engine that can be coupled to a manual gearbox and FWD or to an optional six-speed automatic transmission working together with an active all-wheel drive.
