Fiat Toro officially revealed in Brazil
The Fiat Toro is being introduced in Brazil as a five-door double cab pickup truck scheduled to go on sale next year. The vehicle is 4915 mm long and has a maximum payload capacity of 1,000 kg while in the cabin there’s room enough for up to five people. It can be had with a 1.8 16v E-Torq Flex engine that works exclusively with a 6-speed automatic transmission and a 4×2 setup. There’s also a more economical 2.0 16v Multijet turbodiesel that can be coupled to a six-speed manual, six-speed automatic or a nine-speed automatic, with both 4×2 and 4×4 modes available.
The Fiat Toro sold in Brazil will be sold in Urban, Adrenaline and Country trim levels and depending on the version it has xenon headlights, LED daytime running lights, Uconnect touchscreen infotainment with a 5-inch display, along with rain & light sensors, electric sunroof and partial leather upholstery.
Other goods on the menu worth mentioning include the Hill Descent Control, 18-inch alloy wheels, an off-road suspension, dual climate control system, rearview camera, GPS navigation and Bluetooth connectivity while on the more expensive versions you can get partial leather upholstery.
It’s bound to go on sale at first in Brazil, but other markets in Latin America will follow shortly.
