Holden launches Colorado LS-X special edition
Holden has taken the wraps off the Colorado LS-X in Australia and they plan on making only 750 units. All of them are going to be based on the Colorado LS 4×4 Crew Cab and will come nicely equipped as standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, a sports bar and a smoked hood protector while carpeted flooring and LS-X badging are also part of the package. It offers a maximum towing capacity of 3.5 tons and can be fitted with the Holden MyLink infotainment system which comes with a 7-inch touchscreen color display.
There aren’t any changes in terms of power, so the Colorado LS-X will come with a Duramax 2.8-liter turbodiesel engine developing 197 bhp (147 kW) and a maximum torque of 440 Nm (324 lb-ft) sent to both axles with help from a 6-speed manual gearbox.
Compared to the LS 4×4 Crew Cab upon which it’s based, this new special edition costs an extra $1,000 and comes with up to 5 standard scheduled services for 45 months/75,000kms, whichever occurs first. Those who are interested in this special edition will be able to order one starting mid-October and according to Holden buying this limited-run model will allow customers to save more than $1,000 on accessories.
