Huet Brothers Coupe planned for next year
You probably haven’t heard of Huet Brothers but we don’t blame you since it’s a rather unknown specialty marque from The Netherlands. They are currently planning a coupe featuring retro styling but with modern underpinnings as it will be based on the next generation of the Mazda MX-5 Miata which will likely be unveiled this year. Currently they have 21 people who placed a preorder for the model and in order to commence production (slated for 2015), they must receive an additional 19 orders.
The 2015 Huet Brothers Coupe will borrow Miata’s SKYACTIV chassis and will likely adopt carbon fiber body panels which should provide the car with a curb weight of less than 816 kg so it should turn out to be quite nimble and agile, especially around the corners.
