Hyundai ix20 facelift revealed in Geneva

The 2015 Hyundai ix20 facelift has received its world premiere at the Geneva Motor Show. The small yet stylish MPV from South Korea has gained new projector headlights along with a revised hexagonal front grille that has bar- or mesh-type layout. Hyundai has also added fresh 16- and 17-inch alloy wheel choices while the rear end hosts slightly different taillights benefiting from LED technology. Inside the cabin it comes with an optional heated steering wheel as well as a new audio system benefiting from iPod, Bluetooth, USB and AUX connectivity and built-in My Music which comes bundled with 1GB of storage.

The 2015 Hyundai ix20 facelift benefits from a revised engine lineup consisting of 1.4 and 1.6 gasoline motors developing 90 HP (66 kW) and 125 HP (99 kW), respectively. The latter can now be teamed up with a six-speed automatic transmission while on the diesel side we find a 1.4 with 77 HP (57 kW) and 90 HP (66 kW). There’s also a beefier 1.6 generating 115 HP (85 kW) or 128 HP (94 kW), with both these diesel engines coupled to a six-speed manual transmission.
