American tuner Hennessey has unveiled its aftermarket package for the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe. The HPE600 kit brings a bump in power for the V8 5.0-liter supercharged engine of 73 bhp (54 kW) and 89 Nm (66 lb-ft) to a grand total of no less than 623 bhp (464 kW) at 6,200 rpm and 769 Nm (568 lb-ft) at 4,300 rpm. The added oomph was possible after the engineers installed an improved intercooler, an upgraded supercharger pulley as well as a remapped engine ECU. The kit is offered with a three-year / 36,000-mile warranty and comes with Hennessey exterior badging as well as serial-numbered engine & dash plaques.
After the upgrades are made, the Jaguar F-Type R Coupe by Hennessey is able to run the 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) sprint in as little as 3.5 seconds while the quarter mile is done in only 11.4 seconds at 126 mph (202 km/h). We remind you that the stock version needs 4 seconds to complete the 0-60 mph run which makes Hennessey’s version half a second quicker. There’s no word about the top speed but the stock version is electronically-capped at 186 mph (300 km/h).
