Jaguar launches 2015 XF R-SPORT
British marque Jaguar has just unveiled an R-SPORT version of the XF lineup which will be exhibited to the public starting next month at the 84th edition of the Geneva Motor Show. This edition is available for both the sedan and the wagon and comes with a sportier front bumper, a rear spoiler and updated side skirts. It also features different 17-inch rims with low-rolling resistance tires and can be distinguished by its glossy black trim. The cabin sports Suedecloth seats with red, dove or tan contrast stitching, along with R-Sport badging on the tread plates and steering wheels. There’s also a dark oak/carbon fiber/piano black trim.
Under the hood these two Jaguar XF R-SPORT models come with a 4-cylinder, 2.2-liter turbodiesel engine outputting 163 HP and a maximum torque of 400 Nm. Output is put to the ground with help from an 8-speed automatic gearbox that allows the cars to do 0-60 mph (0-96 km/h) in 9.8 seconds before topping out at 130 mph (209 km/h). Jaguar says the models have a fuel consumption of 4.9 liters / 100 km with corresponding CO2 emissions of 129 g/km.
