Jaguar prepares Final Fifty Edition for the aging XKR
Jaguar is preparing to terminate the aging XKR but before that they have prepared a Final Fifty Edition which was introduced a few days ago at the New York Auto Show. The vehicle will go on sale starting this fall but only in the United States and will be available in 25 coupes and 25 convertibles. Jaguar has decided to come up with this special edition as a homage to the iconic E-Type which was also phased out with a final run of 50 special cars. The vehicle will be wearing an Ultimate Black exterior paint scheme and will ride on 20-inch forged alloys.
It will come with the hood from the XKR-S GT and will also boast a rear wing, rear diffuser and aerodynamic side skirts. Inside the cabin are performance seats, bespoke door sill plates, a steering wheel wrapped around in Jet suede cloth along with a Bowers & Wilkins sound system.
Under the hood there’s a V8 5.0-liter supercharged engine with 510 bhp and 461 lb-ft, enough for a 0-60 mph run in 4.6 seconds and a 174 mph top speed.
