Jaguar teases 2015 XE
British marque Jaguar has published a teaser image with the upcoming entry-level XE sedan which will be fully revealed in the months to come. The vehicle wears an interesting full body camouflage which manages to hide the design while at the same time it shows the inner architecture of the model. It will look like a smaller XF fitted with a rectangular front grille that is being flanked by a pair of slender headlights. It also comes with generously sized rearview mirrors, beefy wheel arches as well as a sloped roofline towards the back.
Further official details are not available at this point but we do know the 2015 Jaguar XE is going to ride on the firm’s new iQ[Al] platform and will be motivated by a series of 4-cylinder gasoline and diesel engines, along with a larger V6 3.0-liter supercharged mill outputting 340 bhp and/or 380 bhp.
Chances are the XE will be showcased in October at the Paris Motor Show and will go on sale in the summer of 2015.
