Jeep’s UK division has announced the all-new Cherokee will go on sale in United Kingdom next month and it will carry a starting price of 25,495 GBP. For this money the customer will be getting a leather-covered steering wheel, Bluetooth, dual-zone climate control system, 17-inch rims, LED taillights and rear park assist. The Longitude+ trim level adds an Uconnect infotainment system that packs an 8.4-inch touchscreen display and GPS, while another goodie would have to be the nine-speaker sound system. Clients can also order the luxury-oriented Limited version or the off-road-focused Trailhawk derivative.
Under the hood there’s a four-cylinder, MultiJet 2 2.0-liter diesel engine delivering 140 bhp and 350 Nm along with a more powerful version that pumps out 170 bhp and 350 Nm. Later on Jeep will offer a more powerful V6 Pentastar 3.2-liter outputting 271 bhp and a peak torque of 315 Nm.
