KBR Motorsport has launched a tuning package for the BMW M3 Coupe (E92 generation). It’s known as the Clubsport as it has gone through an extensive weight loss program since the cabin has been stripped out. Gone are the rear seats and the interior trim while the sound insulation has been extracted as well to drop as much weight as possible. Even the front seats were removed as these were replaced with a lighter set of Recaro Profi SPG with Schroth four-point harness while carbon fiber was used for the door panels. The high-performance coupe has also gained BBS Competition 19-inch rims with 265/30 ZR19 Pirelli Trofeo tires along with a coilover suspension from KW.
The BMW M3 Coupe comes with an uprated version of the V8 4.0-liter engine that now delivers 450 PS and 440 Nm thanks to a remapped ECU while the software of the gearbox has been revised as well to enable quicker shifts. The exterior appearance has remained mostly stock as aside from the custom wheels there are some carbon fiber bits and pieces.
KBR Motorsport says other upgrades are in the works and will bring even more power for those who are not satisfied with the current output.
