Lamborghini unveils Aventador SV Roadster, costs $530,075

Lamborghini has staged the world premiere of the Aventador SV Roadster this past weekend at Pebble Beach. Only 500 units are planned for production and each will be available for a jaw-dropping $530,075 MSRP in United States while in Europe the prices kick off at €357,000 (without VAT). Deliveries are slated to begin early next year and those who can afford the car will be happy to know that compared to a regular Aventador Roadster, the SV version is 50 kg lighter and 50 PS more powerful, so it now weighs 1,575 kg and packs a mighty 750 PS punch from its uprated naturally aspirated V12 engine.

Featuring an impressive power to weight ratio of 2.1 kg / PS, the Lamborghini Aventador SV Roadster needs will run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 2.9 seconds before hitting a top speed of more than 217 mph (350 km/h). The company from Sant’Agata Bolognese says they have installed a power rear window that allows the engine’s sound to penetrate the cabin to provide an exceptional aural experience.
The Aventador SV Roadster will have a carbon fiber hardtop made from two pieces and each will weigh less than 6 kg. When the roof is not in position, those two pieces can be stored in the trunk.
