Lexus has already released a couple of teasers for the upcoming 2014 RC-F and now we have learned through a leaked invitation for the North American International Auto Show that the car will be motivated by a V8 engine capable of developing 460 bhp (343 kW).
The high performance version of the RC will be introduced to the market sometime next year and is rumored to carry a starting price tag of about $100,000.
Other confirmed details about the car are not known at this moment but we can tell you the RC-F will be officially revealed in January at NAIAS in Detroit. Speculation suggests it will borrow some of the design cues from the LFA, as well as its speed-sensitive rear spoiler. Lexus’ engineers have kept the curb weight down to a minimum by installing a roof, hood and trunk lid made from carbon fiber.
