Long wheelbase Mercedes-Benz C-Class seen in China
Mercedes-Benz is just about ready to introduce the first ever long wheelbase variant of the C-Class. It will happen later this month in China at the Beijing Motor Show. The model will be sold exclusively in China and in this spy shot we take a look at a pre-production prototype fitted with the AMG Line package. It’s the C 260 L model and compared to the regular C-Class W205 its wheelbase has been stretched by 60mm to 2900mm which means those who will be sitting in the back will benefit from additional legroom.
The Mercedes-Benz C-Class L will have to go up against similar models in this segment such as the Volvo S60L, BMW 3Li and the Audi A4L. Production of the stretched C-Class will be done by the Beijing-Benz joint venture in China.
