Lotus has decided that the best way to celebrate their presence in Formula 1 would be through a special edition of the Exige. It’s called the LF1 and only 81 units will be produced for all markets except United States. The vehicle is based on the Exige S but comes with a black & gold body combined with red accents and special badging. It also benefits from gold alloy wheels and has received Pirelli P Zero Trofeo tires, high-performance brakes and a Dynamic Performance Management system which are all part of the Race Pack.
On the inside, the Lotus Exige LF1 has received a similar black and gold theme with two-tone leather & fabric seats that have embroidered headrests and seat backs, along with an individually-numbered carbon fiber plaque and an air conditioning system. Motivation is provided by a V6 3.5-liter engine outputting 350 PS and 400 Nm which allows the Lotus Exige LF1 sprint to 100 km/h in just 4 seconds before topping out at 274 km/h.
Customers will also receive a Romain Grosjean 1:2 scale replica helmet, a factory tour of Lotus Cars as well as a tour of the Lotus F1 Team headquarters. The vehicle comes bundled with a Lotus F1 USB stick, Lotus F1 car key fob and several discounts on the firm’s lifestyle products.
