The Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG can now be upgraded by the tuners at mcchip-dkr with three power stages. The first phase increases output of the 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo gasoline engine to 400 HP and 535 Nm, up from the standard 360 HP and 450 Nm. The additional oomph is obtained through software tweaks while stage two adds sports catalysts which bump the engine’s output further to 420 HP without increasing the torque figure. There’s also a stage three kit which includes the previous upgrades as well as some revisions to the turbocharger.
After applying the stage three kit, the engine residing inside the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG can develop no less than 450 HP and a maximum torque of 550 Nm. Aside from gaining power, the hot hatchback also comes with 19-inch KV1 rims with Dunlop Sport Maxx Race tires, along with a new set of coilovers from KW.
