The Mercedes-Benz GL63 AMG has received an upgrade program courtesy from Brabus. The SUV is wearing a wide body kit with different bumpers, a spoiler mounted on the tailgate and also extended wheel arches. Other modifications over the stock version include a stainless steel exhaust system, rear diffuser, suspension lowering module and a high-performance braking system. Customers can opt for a variety of alloys in sizes ranging from 21- to 23-inch which can be covered by Pirelli or Yokohama rubbers. On the inside there are aluminum shift paddles, alloy pedals, illuminated sill plates, different leather/Alcantara upholstery and a 320 km/h speedometer.
In terms of power, the V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo engine can be fitted with a 620 PowerXtra kit which will increase output to 620 HP and 820 Nm, representing an increase of 63 HP and 60 Nm. Thanks to the power boost, the GL63 AMG by Brabus will sprint to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 4.7 seconds, before hitting an electronically-capped top speed of 174 mph (280 km/h).
