Mercedes-Benz launches CLA Edition 1
The German automaker Mercedes-Benz has announced a special edition of the recently introduced CLA (essentially an A-Class sedan) which is known as Edition 1 and will be available only in the following 12 months. It is available with the entire engine lineup offered for the regular CLA and can be recognized thanks to its NEON ART interior cabin featuring a combination of leather and micro fiber for the upholstery which also comes with contrasting yellow stitching. It also boasts aluminum trim elements and a Nappa leather-wrapped, three-spoke multi-function sports steering wheel which has a flat-bottomed design.
Customers will have the possibility of ordering the Mercedes-Benz CLA Edition 1 with one of the following paint schemes: night black, cirrus white, mountain grey, cosmos black and designo polar silver magno. We should mention the latter will be available starting with Q3 2013. Other features include black multi-spoke alloys, AMG side sills, as well as AMG front and rear aprons. It also comes with lowered sports suspension and bi-xenon headlamps.
Pricing in Germany begins from 35,402 euros for the entry-level CLA 180, while the most expensive model is the CLA 250 available from 44,625 euros. Both price tags include VAT.
