Mercedes-Benz reveals all-new Vito
Mercedes-Benz is introducing the new generation Vito which as you can see has been heavily influenced by the V-Class. It offers up to 1,369 kg of cargo capacity which represents a best-in-class figure and can be had with FWD, RWD and AWD layout while customers get to choose from two wheelbases and three lengths (4895mm, 5140mm and 5730mm). The new Vito will be offered in three flavors: panel van, Vito Crew and Vito Tourer, with the latter being tailored to passenger transport and offered in PRO and SELECT versions whereas the panel van and Crew are designed to carry high loads.
The FWD Vito is powered by a four-cylinder 1.6-liter engine with 88 PS (65 kW) and 114 PS (84 kW) while the RWD model can be had with a four-cylinder 2.15-liter motor outputting 136 PS (100 kW), 163 PS (120 kW) and 190 PS (140 kW). Depending on engine choice, Mercedes-Benz is offering a 6-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic.
All models benefit from disc brakes, adaptive ESP, up to 8 airbags, Attention Assist, Crosswind Assist, tire pressure monitoring system and optional goodies such as Intelligent Light System, Lane Keeping Assist, Parking Assist and Blind Spot Assist.
