Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG receives 850 HP from Brabus
Well-known tuner Brabus has prepared an aftermarket program for the Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG which has received the “850 6.0 Biturbo” moniker. Right from the start we notice that the vehicle is now wearing an aero-optimized exterior kit encompassing a hood scoop, front splitter, rear diffuser, as well as a spoiler mounted on the trunk. The vehicle rides on 20-inch forged alloy wheels and has been fitted with a sports exhaust system.
Brabus has also worked on the V8 5.5-liter twin-turbo engine and managed to increase its output to no less than 850 HP and 1,450 Nm of torque, representing a massive boost of 313 HP and 650 Nm. The tuner didn’t say anything about the car’s performances but the SL63 AMG should now be considerably faster than the stock model that needs 4.3 seconds until 62 mph (100 km/h) and can hit an electronically-capped speed of 155 mph.
