MINI reveals facelifted Countryman
MINI has prepared a minor facelift for the 2015MY Countryman just in time for the New York Auto Show which kicks off today. The updated crossover comes with a different front grille along with LED daytime running lights and tweaked alloys. We also notice the addition of LED fog lights while the all-wheel drive version comes equipped with underbody guards. Aside from several new customization options, the 2015 Countryman will be available with three fresh exterior paint schemes called Starlight Blue metallic, Midnight Grey metallic and Jungle Green metallic (pictured).
On the inside it has a modestly revised instrumentation, more sound-deadening material, together with chrome touches on the switchgear, while the MINI Connected infotainment system has been updated. The engine lineup has been carried over but the S version now sports a 4-cylinder 1.6-liter turbocharged gasoline engine with 190 bhp and 240 Nm, enough for a 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) run in 7.5 seconds and a 135 mph (218 km/h) top speed.
