Opel Astra OPC EXTREME spotted in Geneva
The Opel Astra OPC EXTREME has been grabbed on camera for the very first time while arriving at the 84th edition of the Geneva Motor Show in Switzerland. Billed as the fastest road-going Astra, the vehicle is 100 kg lighter than the OPC variant and is powered by an upgraded 4-cylinder, 2.0-liter turbo with more than 300 bhp. The significant weight drop was possible by making extensive use of carbon fiber and aluminum, while the output is transferred to the front axle through a six-speed manual gearbox and a limited-slip differential. Opel has already announced the model is slated to go into a limited-production series.
