Opel unveils production-ready Adam Rocks
Opel has prepared a more rugged exterior appearance for the Adam which will be showcased next month at the Geneva Motor Show. The new derivative will wear the “Rocks” moniker and will be distinguished by the fact that it’s taller and wider than the standard variant and is also equipped with a full-length electric folding canvas roof. Moreover, the Adam Rocks comes with a bunch of chassis tweaks like revised dampers, springs, rear suspension geometry and steering. The vehicle sits on 17-inch alloy wheels but can be optionally fitted with 18-inch rims together with a wide array of wheel clips.
Aside from the protective cladding, the model has a chrome central bar in the front grille, along with LED daytime running lights, a roof spoiler and wears a Goldbuster yellow paint which hasn’t been seen before on the Adam. It can be had with all the engines of the regular model, including the recently introduced 1.0-liter three-cylinder gasoline engine which delivers 115 HP and 160 Nm to the front wheels via a new 6-speed manual gearbox.
