Peugeot reveals Vision Gran Turismo
Peugeot is introducing their Vision Gran Turismo virtual concept developed exclusively for Gran Turismo 6. It features a radical styling with a body that lacks any aerodynamic features and it doesn’t even have side windows. The vehicle is just 1.04 meters tall and despite the lack of aero optimization the body has been created in such a way to be “enough to effectively stick the car to the road.” It benefits from a lightweight construction using advanced materials which help the vehicle weigh only 875 kg. Peugeot has installed 22-inch wheels at the front and 23-inch rims for the rear axle.
Motivation for the Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo is provided by a 3.2-liter V6 turbo engine with 875 bhp sent to the road via a 6-speed manual transmission channeling power to an all-wheel drive system. With a power to weight ratio of 1:1, the virtual supercar needs only 1.73 seconds to complete the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) and stops efficiently thanks to ventilated carbon brakes from Brembo measuring 380mm at the front and 337mm at the rear.
The Peugeot Vision Gran Turismo will be available as a free update soon for Gran Turismo 6.
