Porsche intros 2014 Panamera Turbo S
Porsche has unveiled today the range-topping Turbo S version of the Panamera, thus completing the facelifted lineup originally introduced about seven months ago. Power comes from the same twin-turbo 4.8-liter V8 engine but output has increased by 20 HP for a total of 570 HP which help the high-performance sedan sprint to 60 mph (96 km/h) in 3.6 seconds and onto a top speed of 192 mph (309 km/h). Design-wise it carries over the styling tweaks brought to the more affordable versions, including a 4-way rear spoiler, bigger rear window and updated bumpers.
Porsche says the 2014 Panamera Turbo S will be available in an Executive variant which comes with 150mm stretched wheelbase to provide more comfort for the rear passengers. The car will be showcased in November at Tokyo Motor Show, along with the rest of the Panamera lineup.
As far as pricing is concerned, the Turbo S will kick off in United States from $180,300 while the aforementioned Executive derivative will begin at $200,500.
