Following a preview released last month, Chinese automaker Qoros has released additional images and details about its second production model, the 3 Hatch. Compared to the sedan, the hatchback variant is 177mm shorter which means that it now measures 4438mm. The entry-level variant comes equipped as standard with 16-inch alloy wheels, followed by the mid-range model with 17-inch rims and the range-topping version that rides on 18-inch wheels. Standard goodies include a 3.5-inch TFT screen in the instrument cluster along with an 8-inch touchscreen display in the center of the dashboard which is of the capacitive type and has support for multi-touch gestures.
Motivation is provided exclusively by a 4-cylinder, 1.6-liter engine offered in a naturally aspirated version with 126 HP / 155 Nm and in turbocharged form outputting 156 HP / 210 Nm. The first type can work with a 6-speed manual or a 6-speed DCT while the turbo engine is coupled only to the DCT.
