Renault Espace starts at €34,200 in France

Renault has released pricing details for their all-new Espace set to go on sale in France this spring. The cheapest version money can buy will set you back €34,200 and in exchange you will be getting the Life Energy dCi 130 version fitted with a manual gearbox. It comes as standard with 18-inch rims, full LED headlights, parking sensors, R-LINK2 infotainment system (with 8.7-inch screen), Lumière panoramic windscreen along with one-touch function second- and third-row seats. Zen trim starts at €37,700 and adds the Multi-Sense system with four modes: eco, comfort, natural and sport. There’s a fifth mode named perso which allow the driver to customize the settings.

Up next is the Intens trim from €40,800 which comes with adaptive cruise control, head-up display, electric tailgate, Dark Brown Riviera leather upholstery and Easy Park Assist. Those who upgrade to the flagship Initiale Paris trim will have to pay €44,800 to get the extra goodies such as 19-inch alloys, 4Control chassis (with four-wheel steering & active damping), 12-speaker Bose audio system, several Nappa upholstery choices as well as ten-way power-adjustable heated front seats with massaging function.


The 2015 Renault Espace can be had with a turbodiesel dCi 130 engine outputting 130 HP and 320 Nm or with a more powerful turbodiesel dCi 160 producing 160 HP and 380 Nm. Those who prefer gasoline engines can opt for the TCe 200 pushing out 200 HP and 260 Nm. Gearbox availability depends on the selected engine and Renault is selling a six-speed manual along with six- and seven-speed dual-clutch automatic transmissions.
