The Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo Stradale has received a tuning program from RENM Performance. The STS-700 in these photos comes with a better cooling system for the brakes and the engine, as well as a new custom carbon fiber kit which not only reduces the vehicle’s weight, but at the same time it diminishes drag and boosts airflow and downforce. The V10 engine has been tuned to output 700 HP (514 kW) at 8,500 rpm thanks to a larger titanium inlet, titanium connecting rods, exhaust ports, custom billet camshaft, custom billet pistons and crankshaft, exhaust valves, and a titanium exhaust system.
The Lamborghini Gallardo STS-700 by RENM Performance will run the 0-62 mph (0-100 km/h) sprint in 3.2 seconds and reach a top speed of 205 mph (330 km/h). As a reminder, the standard Super Trofeo Stradale needs 3.4 seconds for the sprint and can hit a maximum speed of 199 mph (320 km/h).
Other changes worth mentioning include three-way Ohlins fully adjustable dampers, adjustable front anti-roll bar, wider wheel tracks, along with whisbone suspension links. Also part of the package is an uprated carbon ceramic brake kit, modified gear shifter, lightweight sport seats covered by Alcantara, along with a custom roll cage featuring seat belts, fire extinguisher and four-point harness.
